- Borderline: is a personality disorder described as a prolonged disturbance of personality function. characterized by a black and white mood thinking

- Schizotypal: personality disorder that is characterized by a need for social isolation, odd baheavior and thinking, and often unconventional beliefs

- Paranoid: diagnosis characterized by paranoia and a persasive, long standing suspiciousness and generalized mistrustof others.

- Narcissistic: is the personality trait of egotism, vanity, conceit, or simple selfishness, applied to a social group.

- Histrionic: a personality disorder characterized by a pettern of excessive emotionality and attention seeking, incluiding an excessive need for approval and inappropiate seductiveness.

- Antisocial: "a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood"

- Obsessive Compulsive: Characterized by obession for perfection feeling that you cant stop youself, overwhelming feeling of having to do something even if you know that you dont have to

- Avoidant : Characterized by social inhibition, extremely sensitive to negative evaluation and avoidance of social interaction

My personallity

Guardians are the cornerstone of society, for they are the temperament given to serving and preserving our most important social institutions. Guardians have natural talent in managing goods and services--from supervision to maintenance and supply -- and they use all their skills to keep things running smoothly in their families, communities, schools, churches, hospitals, and businesses.

Guardians can have a lot of fun with their friends, but they are quite serious about their duties and responsibilities. Guardians take pride in being dependable and trustworthy; if there's a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder to the wheel. Guardians also believe in law and order, and sometimes worry that respect for authority, even a fundamental sense of right and wrong, is being lost. Perhaps this is why Guardians honor customs and traditions so strongly -- they are familiar patterns that help bring stability to our modern, fast-paced world.

Practical and down-to-earth, Guardians believe in following the rules and cooperating with others. They are not very comfortable winging it or blazing new trails; working steadily within the system is the Guardian way, for in the long run loyalty, discipline, and teamwork get the job done right. Guardians are meticulous about schedules and have a sharp eye for proper procedures. They are cautious about change, even though they know that change can be healthy for an institution. Better to go slowly, they say, and look before you leap.

Guardians make up as much as 40 to 45 percent of the population, and a good thing, because they usually end up doing all the indispensable but thankless jobs everyone else takes for granted.

Guardians at Work
As a Guardian, you enjoy working as a valued member of a team, whether you are leading it or following a credible leader. You like to work with people who carry their weight. You appreciate having clear-cut responsibilities and being recognized for your dedication and achievements. In any environment, including your work place, you are usually focused on making people happy and facilitating harmonious relationships. Journal Assignment

The experiment of blue eyed and brown eyed consisted in a teacher who discriminated one eye color to see the response of the kids, and she saw that when one of the eye colors was mentioned the other kids got grumpy. This teached them how they shouldnt be racist. She used a way to divide the class so the kids would, feel how the african american people would feel every time they get descriminated, the kids finally learn and that lesson the teacher gave them would change their way of thinking, they would have no more racist beliefs thanks to that lesson. Prejudice is "An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts". and Discrimination is "Treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice" both of this words have a similar meaning, but both of them have a bad connotation, because no one should judge someone before actually knowing them. The part of the video that was more interesting in my opinion was the part that the teacher told that when the kids with brown eyes were descriminated there grades lowered, and when they were the dominant eye color there grades went up.

Why are people racist?

People behave like animals, when they get harmed once by a human they get a response in there brains that makes them never get close to another person that can harm them. Well like us if we are harmed by someone or we see people getting harmed in movies by a certain race or kind of people, we get a fear of getting hurt by that same race, we create like a respone in our brains that when we are close to a race that can hurt us we dont get that close so we can defend ourselves. Everyone has some kind of racist beliefs, but some people develop it more than others, some people use racism as a weapon to defens themselves, they keep close to the people of the same kind because they are in their comfort zone. People are also racist because they are afraid of things they dont understand and are afraid to comfront the way they feel. Also because some people are ignorant and they dont get to know the other kind of people before they judge. So in conclusion we think that we never will understand the other races so we stay with a fear of getting hurt by other races.

What causes racism?

"Racism is one of the most revolting things within the vicinity of humanity. It haunts our past, many times degrading the future". one of the most common causes of racism is stereotypes, this is because the people see through television, radio, and movies. When we are young we are exposed to people that are shown in this stereotypes so we think that they are bad, or they will behave in a way that can damage us, like in the movies. Another cause of racisim is unfamiliarity, this is becaue people fear what they do not know. Selfishness is another key factor in racism, this is because humans are selfish creatures, because they only care about there own expense. Another big cause is enviromental factors, our phisical envioroment can affect our biology and that can affect our minds. These are all the causes of racism, and because of racism people dont get to know all of the persons, you can get to know a lot of people from every race who can get to be a good friends of yours, and that you can get to share with alot, race doesn't show how a person could be. In conclusion movies, tv shows, radio give a bad stereotype of all the different races, every race has virtues that people dont account for, and this is why the human race it is not perfect. Because the person who thinks bad of another person its not a person that you should be around with.

Why is psychology important?

Psychology is an important subject because it talks of the people's emotion and how do they affect the behavior of society. Without society we would never know how the human mind works psychology also talks about human emotions and why do peole feel the way they feel and why do they react as they do. This is important to me because I learn by watching how people do stuff and why they do it. In if all of the people would know more about psychology the world will be different.
